Jacket has faults - namely edge/shelf wear, few marks, patchy browning (including to spine), one small (approx. 1cm) tear to front lower edge, very small patchy loss (mainly to head/tail of spine and to corners), old mark to spine, the odd small crease/rub to edges, pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine, little pushing/bumping to corners, the odd spot of foxing and is in only good condition. Boards are near fine (having been well protected by the jacket) with very minor pushing to corners and minor pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Pages slightly tanned. Top of pages have the odd small mark/mild foxing. Very occasional small mark to pages. No other faults. All books described honestly and accurately. Paypal accepted.

This is a limited edition of 500 copies of which this is number 369, and was acquired from Sotheran's booksellers, the longest established antiquarian booksellers in the world, founded in 1761. Their discreet sticker is present on the verso of FEP. The slipcase is notably worn, including splits at several fold points, a dampstain to foot, front and rear, and rubbing and wear to cover and edges. Light shelfwear only to dust jacket, relating to the exposed spine (via the slip case); this lightly tanned, with minor wear at the centre of the spine, caused by previous owners extracting the book from the case. Boards are in fine condition, with gilt decorated, dark green pastedowns front and rear. Within, pages are tightly bound and the beautifully illustrated content is unmarked.
