A sequel (or epilogue) to Tolstoy's novella, Kreutzer Sonata (named after Beethoven's sonata), which was censored in Russia and banned in the U.S. In this epilogue Tolstoy clarifies the intended message of the novella that argued for the ideal of sexual abstinence and offers a first-person description of jealous rage.
