Presentation Copy belonging to producer Gordon Carroll, bound in full red leather, with his name in gilt on the bottom right corner of the front board, and his name in manuscript ink on the title page. A buddy cop comedy about a hard-nosed Soviet policeman who must team up with a loudmouthed Chicago detective to find and extradite a Georgian drug lord. Shot on location in Chicago and Los Angeles in the US, in Steiermark, Austria, in Budapest, Hungary, and in Moscow, Russia. Title page present, noted as FIRST DRAFT SHOOTING SCRIPT, with credits for screenwriters Troy Kennedy Martin and Walter Hill. 140 leaves, with last page of text numbered 132A. Xerographic duplication, rectos only, with rainbow revision pages throughout, dated variously between 8/24/87 and 9/16/87. Pages Near Fine.
