A fine original colour lithograph from Vanity Fair, a magazine which was published from 1869-1914, featuring a large caricature portrait each week. It will be presented in a cellophane wrapper with our label guaranteeing authenticity. We pack very well, between sheets of hardboard. This is an excellent opportunity to purchase a portrait of Lord Tweedale, with the caption "a Peninsular veteran", with accompanying biographical details. Field Marshal George Hay, 8th Marquess of Tweeddale, KT, GCB (1 February 1787 - 10 October 1876) was a Scottish soldier and administrator who rose to the rank of Field Marshal in the British Army. He is shown here driving his carriage.
