Vintage glossy 8x10 photo of Lenore Ulric, character actress who appeared in only thirteen films, one of them Camille. The photo is signed and inscribed in fountain pen "To Mush, Sincerely, Lenore Ulric." In fine condition, with adhesive residue on the reverse from a previous mounting, a couple of corner creases and a few surface impressions. The collector notes on the reverse that the photo was signed in 1937.

Tuesday (June 28, 1938, postmark on hand addressed and stamped envelope, with her full signature on the back). 10 1/2" x 7 1/4". Ulric writes while on the road performing in the Robert Sherwood play "Idiot's Delight", seeking his advice on obtaining a Hollywood agent (Selznick Agency had declined to represent her). She also expresses her deep affection for Cukor. Fine condition. Cukor had promoted Ulric for the role of Belle Watling in GWTW, but the role went to Ona Munson. Ulric (1892-1970) was an American actress of the Broadway and Hollywood films. Inscribed by Author(s).
