Also annotated by the scholar with a few brief pencil marks to one section of the text, and a few entries. Text by William R. Valentiner. 81 works of art are catalogued and illustrated with black & white photographs. Valentiner refers to this collection as 'the finest collection of old masters in Los Angeles'. It includes works by Gainsborough, Romney, Sir Henry Raeburn, John Hoppner, Sir Thomas Lawrence, J.M.W.
