Author portrait bookplate to front endpaper, signed "Roger Vardon when he wrote this book." 16 line poem inscribed to blank and half title; signed by author and dated May 28th, 1937, Peterborough , Ont. Another mounted photograph to blank before page 95 signed "Roger Vardon at 18." Tipped in are two autographed 1 page manuscript poems by the author. One titled "Hearth Visions" signed; one typed on Peterborough Public Library letterhead and signed. Text block clean and square. Small tear to top edge of free front endpaper. Cloth very slightly worn to extremities, mildly scuffed with one stain to front. Very good. A remarkable and unique copy. Signed by Author(s).

Worn at the extremities, with a small chip to the lower rear cover, light staining to the covers, and a rubbed, worn spine; upper cover now detached (can repair on request). Approximately 20 pages with light pencil underlining, notes, and corrections; small pink pencilled "66" at the end of the title on the title page. Inscribed by Frederick Montague de la Fosse on the half-title to A. C. Fremont? (Peterborough, March 21/'33). Additionally signed by de la Fosse on the title page. Fragile, but still a good copy. Inscribed by Author(s).
