In her accounts of life in Peace River, she sought to divert attention away from herself. Firmly in the tradition of generations of women workers in the church, as much social worker as spiritual leader, she found a useful niche for her talents and interests. Storrs was conscious of a burden placed upon her that was not placed upon male clergy.
