Folio size part in original soft paper wraps of one part of Virtue's Imperial Shakspere, being a subscriber's part.This is a very delicate volume, and the gatherings have separated. Contains several steel engravings of Shakesperean scenes, very clean, with only very occasional minor foxing, plus the plays, starting at The Two Gentlemen of Verona through to Act I of The Merchant of Venice. Note, the complete works were sold in parts in paper wraps, and this constitutes only one part of the complete set. 200 pages, 5 full page engravings and engraved title page present. Book.
