Stunning edition of Coleridge's classic poem first issued by the Heritage Press in 1938; this is a 1945 edition, with an Introduction by Professor John Livingston Lowes (orig. published as a chapter in "The Road to Xanadu"), brought to life with the four-color sketches of Ed…ward A. Wilson(1886-1970). With decorative blue paper over boards & a deeper blue cloth-wrapped spine, the book is in VG+ condition: extremely clean, binding strong & straight, hinges secure. Pages creamy white with modest tanning around edges, but unmarked. Slight rubbing to extremities & bumped corners; sunned spine, virtually obscuring the gilt lettering.
