Published in London in 1854, this is the First Edition of this book on Renaissance Ornamental Architectural casts, bound in the original patterned green cloth titled in gilt to upper board, just under 10 inches tall, 54 pages of text, plus many plates, a number of which are folding. The covers have some lightened areas to the cloth , light corner bumps else covers in good solid condition, internally noticeable foxing to endpapers and title page, and light but noticeable foxing and light marking within, a couple of small edge tears with no loss to the folding plates, some creasing to endpapers, and to the edges of some of the folding plates else in good general condition.
