The condition of this book is downgraded because of considerable annotations to several sections of the text, in pencil, by my philosopher-father, a noted Wittgenstein scholar. I hope they may be of interest to another scholar. The interior is otherwise bright and crisp. The unclipped dustjacket has just a few rubbed spots. [See image of actual book.] This volume consists of exegesis and philosophical essays. "The exegesis classifies, analyses and evaluates Wittgenstein's arguments. . . . The seventeen comprehensive essays cover all the major themes in [the 1937 draft] of the 'Investigations'." My father also had a clean copy of the Basil Blackwell first edition which is listed separately.
