The author undertakes a comprehensive examination of various interpretations throughout history, ranging from the early Church Fathers to contemporary scholars. Through meticulous analysis of the original text, the book argues that a solar year, not a lunar year, was used in calculating the seventy weeks, placing the prophecy's fulfillment precisely at the time of Jesus of Nazareth. This conclusion challenges traditional interpretations and sheds new light on the relationship between the prophecy and the life of Jesus, offering a compelling perspective for both believers and scholars alike.
