It was written as a key to the author's wider work and popularized the method of teaching geometry through practical problems. The first section introduces key definitions and facts, and encourages their memorization through repetitive exercises. The second section deeply explores plane geometry, including properties of lines, circles, angles, polygons, and the measurement of angles. The author emphasizes the need for diagrams and clear, concise language to achieve a thorough understanding of geometry. The book's impact on teaching geometry is evident even today in its systematic analysis of the subject and focus on practical applications.
