Buch. Zustand: Neu. Neuware - This Monograph is the result of several decades of parsimonious research in human psychopathology by the authors. It brings an innovative mathematical-physics dimension to the understanding of human emotions, cognition, behavior, and psychiatric diagnostic entities. By bridging psychiatry and psychology to theoretical physics, this psychophysics treatise undertakes to 1) broadly complement the popular Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Psychiatric Disorders (DSM-5), and 2) firmly resolve the dichotomy in Mental science between the dimensional approach to behavior and abnormality in clinical psychology and the medical diagnostic approach to psychotherapy in psychiatry. In particular, for the neuroanatomist, neuroscientist, clinical psychologist and psychiatrist, this treatise firmly captures the very elusive elements which traditionally escaped the subtle currents of diagnostic classification. There is no doubt that the information contained in this manual will also prove valuable to other physicians and health professionals, counselors, nurses, occupational and rehabilitation therapists, as well as social workers and forensic/legal specialists. As to theoretical physicists, this study showcases the uncanny application of the formal methods in use in mathematical-physics to the Human Mind with the aims of shedding a bright light on a diverse range of mental phenomena. Through the use of clear and concise concepts, this reference monograph provides solid answers to the etiology of virtually every mental disorder while providing remedy to a number of long-running deficiencies in psychology and psychiatry. It decisively cures the long-time lack of a broad-spectrum integrative model for the Human Mind which is able to include 1) a precise architecture of the Human Mental, 2) detailed psychophysical dynamics of the Mental, 3) cohesive and verifiable human characterological categorizations as well as 4) exhaustive etiologies of the diverse forms of mental dysfunctions for the first time. Also anchored on extensive review of clinical psychiatric research and on the basis of a rigorous normative foundation for normal and abnormal behavior, this treatise marks a vigorous departure from speculative methods in the field at long last. It puts an end to the largely decried multimorbidity diagnostic problem and proposes newly designed psychometric methods to effectively probe temperament, benign and severe dysfunctions of the Mind alike. The most empowering resource for clinical practice, behavioral assessment and mentation research in all avenues.…
