Taschenbuch. Zustand: Neu. Neuware - This book of personal reminiscences about President Joseph Fielding Smith (1876 to 1972), the tenth President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, greatly enhances our understanding of the Prophet and the man. President Smith was personally acquainted with fourteen of the sixteen Presidents of the Church and thus represents a sort of welding link for almost 200 years of Church history. Based upon a decade of interviews given by Francis M. Gibbons, President Kimball's trusted scribe and secretary to the First Presidency, this book offers a multitude of unique stories, anecdotes, and insights about the Prophet that are nowhere else available. Joseph Fielding Smith is the first volume in a seven-part work entitled Remembering Seven Prophets. PRAISE FOR FRANCIS M.
