Taschenbuch. Zustand: Neu. nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - The Mosaic Theory Of The Solar: Or Planetary, System is a book written by Samuel Pye in 1766. The book is a comprehensive study of the solar or planetary system based on the Mosaic theory, which is the belief that the universe was created by God according to the account given in the book of Genesis. Pye's book is divided into several chapters, each of which explores a different aspect of the solar system. He discusses the sun, the planets, their orbits, and their physical characteristics. Pye also examines the various theories of the time regarding the origin and structure of the solar system, and he compares them to the Mosaic theory. Throughout the book, Pye uses a combination of scientific observation and biblical interpretation to explain the workings of the solar system. He argues that the Mosaic theory provides a more accurate and complete understanding of the universe than other theories, and he uses this perspective to refute many of the prevailing ideas of his time. Overall, The Mosaic Theory Of The Solar: Or Planetary, System is a fascinating look at the intersection of science and religion in the 18th century. Pye's book provides valuable insight into the intellectual climate of the time, as well as the ongoing debate between science and faith. Also Includes A Treatise On Practical Astronomy. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
