The meditations are written in a simple and straightforward style, and they are filled with practical advice on how to live a life of love and devotion to the Sacred Heart. The author begins by explaining the history of the devotion to the Sacred Heart, and he then goes on to discuss the twelve promises that Jesus made to Blessed Margaret Mary Alacoque in favor of those who practice this devotion. These promises include the forgiveness of sins, the consolation of the afflicted, the protection of the innocent, and the granting of graces necessary for salvation. The author then provides a series of meditations on the different aspects of the Sacred Heart. He meditates on the love of the Sacred Heart, the sufferings of the Sacred Heart, the compassion of the Sacred Heart, and the power of the Sacred Heart. He concludes by offering a number of prayers to the Sacred Heart, and he encourages readers to make the First Friday Communion as often as possible. This book is a valuable resource for anyone who wants to learn more about the devotion to the Sacred Heart. It is a book that will help you to grow in your love of Jesus Christ and in your desire to serve Him.
