The author, utilizing the equipment available at the time, documents a series of celestial observations involving the sun, moon, planets, and stars. Along with noting the apparent positions of many stars, the author details corrections for the sun and moon when calculating their eccentric orbits, as well as refinements for correcting stellar observations like atmospheric conditions and instrumental error. This book contributes to the ongoing study of celestial bodies and provides a detailed snapshot of the positions of celestial bodies in the early 19th century.
