Paperback. Zustand: new. Paperback. This is the second novel of the intriguing 'Octagon Fragrance' series. Senior homicide detective Henry Gordon and his close companion Tracey DeLacy are once again drawn into a succession of wildly strenuous moments when they realize that the clones going under the collective name of Cleo Green somehow survived the catastrophe inflicted on them at their Vulcan base. They also discover that the Cleo Greens harbour more incredible secrets and ambitions much wider than they could ever have imagined. Along the way our unlikely heroes also discover more about their human selves and begin to ponder what the future has in store for them after their crossing of the lusty and passionate threshold of their relationship. To further complicate this heady mix of high adventure, romance, mystery and ambition, constable Margaret Rafter makes her move to escalate her long standing friendship with Henry into something more and that leads to totally unexpected consequences. New faces join in as things get under way and the ageless and indestructible DC3 Mike Mike Zulu still wings them from one situation to another. Apart from knocking about all over Australia the members of the team also find themselves embroiled in the politics of a small kingdom located in the horn of Eastern Africa. All this happens against the background of the sisters' gigantic gold smuggling operation that threatens the economies of all the nations of the free world. Join in and see how this mismatched and most human of groups battle and muddle their way through to put matters right, not only for the world, but between themselves as well.
