He completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in 1983, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Drewry was a "Mustang" in the United States Navy, beginning his career in November of 1959, as an enlisted service member. He retired in November of 1986, as a commissioned officer. Upon retiring from the United States Navy, he and his family settled in Pensacola, FL.where he went on to own and run multiple businesses.
