Later in life, she moved to Roebourne and fostered fifteen children. This is her story as told to Anna Vitenbergs and Loreen Brehaut as part of a West Pilbara Oral History Group project. Her working life on stations continued as a young married woman and she added mustering, dingo scalping, shearers' assistant and sheepyard building to her skills.
