This book initially began as an accompaniment to the assignments and lessons in class. From its initial inception, it has grown in content and evolved in format, and now can educate independently from The Academy program. It was, however, written in conjunction with a series of videos that dive into the topics and processes in greater detail. The videos offer nearly 100 hours of footage covering 22 demonstrations, 8 lectures, and instructions for all the assignments taught in class. Together the book and videos form the "Classical Painting Bundle." For more information about the videos, Timothy Rees trained and taught at the Palette and Chisel Academy in Chicago, IL before relocating to Scottsdale, AZ.
