In den Jahren von 2000 bis 2005 war Haskins vor allem als Modefotograf für die Magazine Vogue, Harper?s Bazaar, Allure und New York tätig. Im Jahr 2006 veröffentlicht er eine erweiterte Neuauflage von Cowboy Kate als 'Directors Cut' Edition und im Jahr 2009 erscheint durch The Haskins Press das Buch Fashion Etcetera, Sam Haskins erstes Buch nach 24 Jahren.
