Der Be­sucher betritt die Nordhalle der Deichtorhallen und sieht sich mit einem 2.500 qm großen und bis zu 19 m hohen, fast leeren Raum ­konfrontiert. In diesem leeren Raum lädt eine weite, schwarze, spiegelnde, schwebende Ebene ­siebeneinhalb Meter über dem Erdboden zu neuen Erfahrungen ein. »Horizon Field Hamburg« orientiert und verbindet die Wahrnehmung des ­Gehens, Fühlens, ­Hörens und ­Sehens neu. In der leeren Halle wurde eine Stahlkonstruktion mit einem Gesamtgewicht von 67 t in 7,4 m Höhe aufgehängt, die die Maße 4890 x 2490 x 206 cm hat. Auf dem 12 mm starken Boden aus Birken-Mehrschichtholz wurden 168 Akustikzellen aus Holz angebracht u. mit schwarzem PU-Harz beschichtet. Die Konstruktion konnte über Treppen, die nicht mit der Konstruktion verbunden waren, barfuß betreten werden. Mit Ausstellungs-Verzeichnis des Künstlers u.
