A group of European academics (including Hans-Herman Hoppe) gather to pick apart inconsistencies, "hocus-pocus," and "nonsensical definitions" in the philosophy of the Nobel Prize winner who correctly predicted more than 50 years earlier that Communism could not stand. And indeed, Hayek's definitions of "freedom" and "coercion" were rather odd, justifying a coercive government role in so many aspects of life that Herr Hoppe concludes he differed with the Social Democrats only in suggesting that "the post office might perhaps be privatized." 228 pp. including bibliography.
