Neuware -Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articlesavailable from Wikipedia or other free sources online. In physics, theCHSH Bell test is an application of Bell's theorem, intended todistinguish between the entanglement hypothesis of quantum mechanics andlocal hidden variable theories. It is named after John Clauser, MichaelHorne, Abner Shimony and Richard Holt, who described it in a much-citedpaper published in 1969 (Clauser, 1969). They derived the CHSHinequality, which, as with John Bell's original one (Bell, 1964)applies to a statistical property of counts of 'coincidences' in a Belltest experiment that follows from the assumption that there existunderlying local hidden variables. The inequality must be obeyed underlocal realism but can be infringed under certain conditions in quantummechanics.VDM Verlag, Dudweiler Landstraße 99, 66123 Saarbrücken 100 pp. Englisch.
