He was born into a polyglot family, which is fond of books and reading. He grew up reading books and is fluent in Maithili, Hindi, Bengali and English. It was natural for him to make his career in the world of words, languages and books. Pranav is the Editor and Publisher of Ponytale Books, an India-focused, independent publishing house specializing in books for middle-grade readers.
