Particolare attenzione è stata posta, infine, ai famosi 'tagli', con cui Matta Clark seziona pareti, solai e interi edifici, secondo geometrie precise che ne alterano la percezione: una sorta di chirurgia dello spazio, che scompone e ricompone la materia.
