Sometimes I heard some Brazilian readers of my writings ask me, if I was a regular reader of the Brazilian writer Clarice Lispector when I was in high school, I replied to them: yes, I read Clarice a lot and I also read a lot of Cecilia Meireles' works the great Brazilian poetess, and I read a lot of the classics of my favorite Brazilian classical writer, Jose de Alencar.
