Oversize Paper. 1st Edition. SIGNED PHOTOGRAPH OF INGMAR BERGMAN. The photograph is a large close-up portrait of the director that was published in the program for "Northern Lights Shine At Lincoln Center" which was a salute in film and live performances honoring seventy-five years of Nordic contributions to the performing arts in America and a salute to The American-Scandinavian Fondation on its 75th anniversary. Part of the evening's festivities was the awarding of the 1st Ingmar Bergman Award given to a fine or performing artist born in Scandinavia. The 1st recipient was Mr. Bergman who is without doubt one of the great artistic masters of the Twentieth Century and one of the great filmmakers of all time. Needless to say signed material by him is indeed rare. The program is loose from the covers, but is in fine condition, and the photograph is also in fine condition. Book.

Paper. First Printings. Set in the suburbs of Seattle during the mid-1970s, the comics follow a group of mostly middle class teenagers who, over the summer, contract a mysterious sexually transmitted disease known as "the Bug" or "the teen plague", which causes them to develop bizarre unique physical mutations, turning them into social outcasts. It was published as a 12-issue comic book limited series between 1995 and 2004. The first four issues were released by Kitchen Sink Press; after Kitchen Sink went out of business, Fantagraphics republished the first four issues and the remaining eight. A compiled hardcover volume was released by Pantheon Books in 2005. This collected edition, however, lacks many pages that were included in the first publication- the ones that showed some characters' faces. These pages are considered by some critics to be essential. This is a complete pristine as new collection of all 12 issues and are all first printings, that were published between 1995 and 2004. One of the seminal works of the graphic novel genre and , arguably the single most important work produced in the mid nineties, by one of the great masters of the art form and a towering figure in the graphic novel comic book movement. Each issue features full color front and back covers with Burn's great bold black and white drawings inside along with wonderful different endsheets for each issue. This is a rare opportunity to own this magnificent complete set. Fine. Book.

Oversize Prints in Slipcase. First Edition. Originally published in 1919 this is a beautiful reprint ediion of 8 prints by Max Ernst + the title page. The prints measure 17" x 12 1/2" and are set in a portfolio. The prints are typically surreal in his style of the period and are in black ink on beige heavy stock paper. The title pg. has light offsetting due to the portfolio and the prints are fine with just a touch of toning. due to the nature of the paper used for the portfolio which one would think the publisher would have known better than to place these prints in such a portfolio with a high acid content, but what can we do. There are a few discreet mends to the portfolio along the seams using archival tape and a small piece is missing from the top of the portfolio. The prints are all fine, the portfolio is about vg.
