Hardcover. Zustand: Very Good. Zustand des Schutzumschlags: Very Good. 1st Edition. Signed copy of this otherwise already uncommon book by the Nigerian nationalist and writer Mbonu Ojike. Inscribed in characteristically messy handwriting to what appears to be the "ALP Club" and dated 5/8/46. Laid in is a 5"x4" photo of Ojike which is the same one that is on the back panel of the dustjacket of this book. On the back of the photograph is typewritten Ojike's name. Lovely condition overall, being very well bound, solid and square. Red cloth boards are firm and clean with bright gilt lettering. Dustjacket has a small stain on the bottom of the front panel as well as on the back. DJ spine lightly sun faded. There are two or three very tiny chips to the DJ and some stray rubbing and scuffing, now protected in mylar. Interior is minorly age toned, though still bright, and no marks besides the author's signature. Inscribed by Author(s).
