This stu…dy analyzes a G+14 RC building with internal, external, and alternate-level floating columns using ETABS to evaluate displacement, axial and shear forces, moments, and torsion. Results show internal and external floating columns increase torsion and axial forces, while alternate-level floating columns reduce torsion. Moments rise at corner columns but may reduce at intermediate columns. Displacements and material quantities increase due to load redistribution. Proper design of transfer girders, connections, and placement of floating columns is essential for safety and economy.
