Comprende 68 tavv. incise su rame a piena pagina o su foglio doppio con varie raffigurazioni architettoniche: colonne, ordini architettonici, fontane, planimetrie, facciate e dettagli di edifici, segnatamente di Parigi, strumenti architettonici ed edilizi, mulini a vento, ecc. Bell'esemplare. Raccolta delle tavole architettoniche dell'Encyclopédie di Diderot e D'Alembert. Le pp. di testo bicolonne illustrano minutamente le singole tavole.

Goldgeprägter Halblederband wohl etwas späterer Zeit ( mit goldgeprägtem Rückentitel *Diderot Architecture *) und umlaufendem Farbschnitt, Folio ( 39,5 x 25,5 cm ). Mit 19 Textseiten und zusammen 65 nummerierten ganzseitigen gestochenen Kupfertafeln ( etliche hiervon doppelblattgroß ) auf Büttenpapier mit Ansichten von Gebäuden, Grundrissen, Querschnitten, architektonischen Details etc. Offenbar so nicht ganz vollständig ( es fehlen die 3 Kupfer zu den Tuilerien, die übrigen Kupfer sind vorhanden und gliedern sich in: 39 Kupfer zu *Architecture proprement dite * mit u.a. Leider von insgesamt schlechter Erhaltung: Der Einband stark berieben, das Bezugspapier der Einbanddeckel teils fehlend, teils beschädigt. Ecken und Kanten bestoßen, der schmale Einbandrücken stärker fleckig, Bindung stark gelockert. Innen durchgehend wasserrandig, teils auch stark wasserrandig ( auch die Kupfertafeln davon betroffen ), wenige Seiten etwas fingerfleckig, wenige Seiten mir Randläsionen. Reliure en demi-veau doré, probablement un peu plus tardive (avec titre doré au dos *Diderot Architecture*), avec des coupes en couleurs sur le pourtour, in-folio (39,5 x 25,5 cm). Avec 19 pages de texte et 65 planches gravées sur cuivre à pleine page numérotées ( dont certaines à double page ) sur papier vergé avec des vues de bâtiments, des plans, des coupes, des détails architecturaux, etc. Apparemment pas tout à fait complet ( il manque les 3 cuivres sur les Tuileries, les autres sont présents et se divisent en : 39 cuivres sur *Architecture proprement dite * avec entre autres ordres de colonnes grecques et romaines, chapiteaux de colonnes, portes et portails, niches, frontons, façade de Fontaine erigee a Paris, rue de Grenelle Fauxbourg St. Germain, sous la 5me Prevote de Mr. Turgot.,Facade principale d`une Fontaine.J.F. Malheureusement en mauvais état général : la reliure est très frottée, le papier de recouvrement des plats est en partie manquant et en partie endommagé. Coins et bords abîmés, le dos étroit de la reliure plus taché, reliure fortement relâchée. A l'intérieur, marges d'eau, parfois très marquées (même les planches de cuivre en sont affectées), quelques pages un peu tachées, quelques pages avec des lésions marginales.
