POWER: The project can bring safe, clean, environmentally green energy to millions of people while also powering the HSR system. SECURITY: The border will become harder to cross as one will have to cross HSR tracks that can be constructed to prevent people crossing, but still allow water, airflow, and wildlife crossing. Additionally, the addition of power, water, and transportation along the entire length of the border will vastly reduce the need for unwanted immigration, gun, and drug smuggling.
