Issues from vol 1 are printed on coloured paper. Vol 2 is printed on white paper. The coloured paper has browned and is becoming brittle leading to tears at the edges of pages. Each issue has an illustration of a local worthy, sometimes included in the pagination, sometimes not. There is the bookseller's ticket to the front pastedown - T Kirby who was also the publisher. Ink owner's name to the front pastedown - Edward M. Elliott. His label to the rear pastedown - Edward M Elliott, The Croft, Gorway, Walsall. Old cloth covered boards which are stained and worn. Gilt lettered to the front board. Spine torn at head and foot. End papers spotted and browned.
