Taschenbuch. Zustand: Neu. nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - The study provides a comprehensive overview of livelihood patterns and socio-economic dynamics in Imphal West and Bishnupur Districts of Manipur. In order to fulfil the targeted objectives, the requisite primary data had been collected fro…m the 200 sample households through well-structured and pre-tested schedule by personal interview method. Key findings reveal differences in land ownership, household demographics, and economic activities between the two districts. The study also highlighted environmental awareness and concerns among respondents, with observations of increased pollution and irregular waste disposal practices. Climate change had been observed by most of the respondents, and solid waste had not been disposed of regularly in their localities. The various policy measures suggested are that various National Health Insurance schemes should be made widely available to the appropriate beneficiaries and facilities of the government hospitals should be improved as government hospitals are being accessed by the majority of the households. The people should be educated about the ways to reduce environmental pollution.
