In den WarenkorbHardcover / Hardback. Zustand: Fine. Zustand des Schutzumschlags: Very Good. First edition. Hardback. In 1967 a mass murderer shot a family of 9 in Shell Lake, Saskatchewan. Ballistics experts were responsible for his conviction because, despite altered rifling marks on the gun barrel, the distinctive marks on the firing pin betrayed the weapon. Each specific case is used to illustrate the advances in investigation procedure and technique, together with the progress in forensic medicine and the expansion of police services throughout Canada. Illus., Notes, Bibliog. and Index. 277pp. 8vo. h/back. F. in Vg pcdw.…
