Also illustrated with photo-portraits of the King, Princess Elizabeth & Princess Margaret Rose & Queen Elizabeth Angela Marguerite, wife of George VI. The double-page centerfold is a map of the world indicating the Commonwealth of Nations or the British Empire. Approx. 11 1/4" x 15 3/4" size. A little wear & darkening at top edge of cover; colors bright and in very good condition. NOTE: Shipped rolled for safety.

Special colour supplement to the Christian Science Monitor to celebrate the coronation of King George VI. 8 pages 16 by 12 inches in the form of an illuminated manuscript. Four pages are printed in brown, gilt, red and blue, and four in brown and red. Illuminated letters and decorations on all pages. Sepia portraits of the King, Queen and the two young princesses. This is a very beautiful and rare survival, photographs available on request.
