Text in French, but there are only 3 pages of text in the book, all the rest are photos. Very well-made book, bound in heavy-duty cloth-covered boards, with embossed lettering on the spine. Book itself is very near flawless. Slight, micro signs of use to the cloth binding at the corners keep this book from being As New, but it is nevertheless still a Fine copy. The book is quite clean and stain-free, square and straight, very firm and tight in its binding, no pages are loose, torn, folded, creased, or missing. The hinges are sound and undamaged, the corners are sharp and unbumped. Internally As New, all pages are clean and stain-free, still crisp and fresh, and all text and illustrations are sharp and legible. There is no writing, underlining, highlighting, or any other such markings in the book. The dustjacket did its job keeping the book Fine. It is clean and stain-free, with occasional light wear at the edges, but with one rather nasty 1 inch tear at the bottom of the spine that intrudes diagonally and briefly onto the front of the jacket, soft, faint, almost invisble crease down the jacket spine.
