Hinges and gutters are cracked but still delicately attached by the cords. Front board is warped by what looks like water damage a long time ago. Front free endpaper is missing half it's page. Fold-out map of the hemispheres is opposite the title page. Title page is dated 1835. Stated fifth edition, "revised and enlarged". 323 pages plus last page. Title continues as "Questions for Examination at the End of Each Division; and Descriptive Tables, which Are Given the Pronunciation, and a Concise Account of Every Place of Importance throughout the World. Illustrated by Ten New Maps and an Engraving, Showing the Heights of the Principal Mountains on the Globe". About ten fold out maps of geographical features. Interiors are free from any man made marks. Black residue is present on the rear endpapers. Overall, a poor but readable copy.
