One of Simenon's 'Roman Durs'. Andre Bar is used by his parents as their go between as family relations break down. 155 pages, 5-1/2" X 8-1/4". Dust jacket is price clipped at the front flap. 1-1/2" closed tear at the bottom edge of the front panel of the jacket. Some rubbing wear to the jacket and the spine panel has sun fading. Jacket has been protected with a clear, removable cover. Blue cloth covered boards with the title in silver on the spine. Dot of fraying at the top of the spine panel. Some areas of age tanning to the front and back pastedown pages. Top-stain is slightly faded. No former ownership marks, no writing on the text pages. Not a library discard copy. Binding is tight. Attached are some photos of the copy we have in our inventory.
