Here s another titled: Conversations about Bernstein by William Westbrook Burton who compiled these conversations from among many of Bernstein s friends and colleagues as a sort of a tribute to the Maestro after his passing. This small hard cover book (6 x 8 ½ inches 198 pages) was published by the Oxford University Press of New York and Oxford dated 1995 and an early printing of the First Edition. The boards are beige with a salmon-colored cloth quarter spine and gilt titles on the spine; it is protected by a glossy pictorial dust jacket with a nice image of Bernstein on the cover. There is a sixteen-page section of vintage b&w photos mid-book by way of illustrations. Condition: This book is in near fine condition. The dust jacket is glossy and bright with no real edge wear and perhaps just some faint scuffing to the rear cover. The hard covers are pristine clean bright & unbumped. Inside the book is unmarked and the pages are bright white and clean throughout. Both hinges are intact, and the binding is tight and sound. This book is not ex-library or a remainder.
