The illustrations are reproductions after Turner, Constable, de Wint, Muller, F. Walker, Mason, A. F. Grace, and more. Three pages of publisher's adverts to the rear. Prior owner's ink inscription to the recto to the front free endpaper, 'to Evan Hudson, from her affectionate Husband, 10 July 1883'. In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, generally smart. Marks to the boards and spine. Some bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities, resulting in some loss of cloth. Spine is discoloured. Prior owner's ink inscription to the recto to the front free endpaper. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are bright with spots, though the spots do not affect the plates. Very Good. book.
