In den WarenkorbSoft cover. Zustand: Poor. No Jacket. 5th Edition. A quite fair, yet largely fragile, copy of this classic from the 1840s/'50s. The title continues . . . with the Laws appertaining thereto, as revised by The Marylebone Club, up to the Present Time; Rules for the Formation of Clubs; together with a fund of useful and requisite information. Small size (100mm wide X 133mm high. 128 pages. The sketches of Alfred Mynn and Fuller Pilch are particularly interesting. This is the 5th Edition of 1851. See an accompanying image for the Contents page. Some soiling and discolouration to front and rear covers, and to spine; the front free end paper and the title page each have a previous owner's catalogue reference, sadly in pen; some marks, foxing or otherwise, internally; binding splits showing around title and contents page, and between pages 90-91 and 104-105; some pages are quite or very loose, especially the title page, the preface page, the batch of pages 91-104. The gilt on the edges of the text block is surprisingly good. Still a collectable item.
