A reasonably bright copy in original gilt decorated white cloth. Spine is lightly sunned. Age-toning to external edges and internal margins, else book is clean and text block is snug. Original dust jacket is lightly soiled and with stains on the front panel; also sunned in general and more heavily on the edges, folds and spine. Variously chipped and cracked with pieces missing at spine extremities, toward the lower end of spine, along the top edge of back panel, and lower right front fore-edge corner.
