Black cloth with brilliant silver lettering on spine; blind-stamped illustration on front cloth (extended arms and hands cupping the earth); top edge stained light green; light green endpapers (lightly faded or age-toned around the perimeters of endpapers (no corresponding discoloration to black cloth; top edge perhaps very lightly faded, but still remains light green); very small tan spot on top edge and 3/8" light tan spot on upper middle fore-edge (NO bleeding onto pages in either case). Shiny black dustwrapper not price-clipped ($5.95), with title and author name lettering in white over black across top and upper middle front cover, respectively; subtitle lettering in light green beneath title lettering; same illustration as blind-stamped on front cover cloth also appears on front cover, earth in light blue and light green, arms and hands, cupping earth, in white line-drawing over black; light rubbing wear down front cover right edge; thin line of intermittent rubbing wear down left edge front cover; lower spine corners lightly rubbed; top spine end lightly worn and slightly wrinkled; front cover corners and top left rear cover corner slightly rubbed; 1/2" thin closed slit at gutter middle left front cover (barely penetrates dw, NO impact on book itself): describes much worse than it is: Now in Brodart mylar which forgives peccadilloes mightily. Previous owner name and purchase dagte discreetly on inside front cover, hidden by dw panel; gift presentation, "from Winkie/ Kingston, N.J. May 30- June 2/ 1974" to unamed recipient at top right ffep. Solid copy: strong binding, sharp corners, clean text.
