A Good hard cover book recently nicely rebound with bright gilt spine lettering, 176 pages plus 24 plates, with explanatory descriptions, including 4 folding plates, with a large 4 panel skeleton of the Giant Sloth (see photo). Text portion of the volume is nice and clean, a bit of occasional toning, no markings, torn pages, etc. The plates were likely separated from the book for some time where they suffered water damage. Now reattached the intervening text pages do not share the water damage to the top of the plate pages. All plates after the large skeleton plate have similar water damage as Plate 2 of the skull. That said, all plates present, without edge damage, etc. A well-bound and complete copy of this uncommon title. All of our books are individually inspected and described.
