First the isolation of polysaccharide studies done as development process where physical, chemical and mechanical properties of a new polysaccharide were characterized by different parameters. The Isoniazid tablets were prepared by wet granulation method using natural polysaccharide at different ratio. Prepared granules were evaluated for pre compressive parameters such as Bulk density, Tapped density, Powder Compressibility, Powder flow property and angle of repose. Evaluation parameters of tablet was checked such as weight variation, Thickness, Hardness, Friability, Drug content uniformity, Swelling index. The results of In vitro dissolution studies of tablets of sustained release(batch F1-F5) are shown. In vitro drug release kinetic study was done by Zero order, First order, Higuchi model and Korsemeyer peppas model. 100 pp. Englisch.
