A period bookplate on each inside cover. Crown and feet of spine edges are frayed and chipped; all corner tips are gently worn. Interior pages are all clean, no markings at all. Volume I has a Over-extended interior hinge, but a very tight text block. Pepys original manuscript was written in shorthand. This edition 'Deciphered' by Rev. J. Smith. A lovely way to read this classic work. Suggest Media postage due to weight.
